A White Glove Install Saves you Time and Money

Furnishing a new home in paradise is an exciting and daunting experience. So many decisions to make, considerations regarding language, culture and climate, and logistics involved in setting the perfect stage for new memories to come.  Now more than ever, the process requires many more safety steps than homebuyers expect, and involves more time and more patience than most owners realize.

So what happens behind the scenes to get your new place furnished, staged and ready for move-in?  One of the things our clients appreciate most about the CRATE design experience is our signature White Glove Installs. Take a look at our detailed process:

  1. Design Process:  In just a few design sessions, you will complete your selections process from interior furnishings, outdoor seating, carpetings, lighting, accessories, right down to the mattresses, sheets, towels, kitchen and tabletop items.

  2. Purchasing: After your furnishings plan is finalyzed and approved, the purchasing phase begins. Tracking the arrival of each client’s order is a multi-step process and involves quality control at each point.

  3. Professional Delivery: Scheduling your delivery involves coordinating dates and protocols with your property managers and concierge team. Our White Glove Install process takes approximately 3-5 days depending on the size of the project. Our crew delivers each item to your unit, upacks, assembles everything and disposes of packaging materials according to the building requirements.

  4. Vendor Services: After furnishings are placed, vendor services are scheduled to complete interior painting, deliver electronics, install blinds and hook up appliances while our crew and a designer are onsite. We offer preferred pricing on these services and coordinate all the details, so you don’t have to worry.

  5. Sanitary Cleaning:  For your protection all units are deep cleaned and sanitized once our crews are finished. All workers are required to wear a mask, gloves and booties while on a jobsite.

  6. Staging and Photography: It’s all in the details. A final staging is completed with accessories and artwork so your unit is move-in ready and set up for photography.

  7. Virtual Walk Thrus: our team conducts virtual walk thrus by video and facetime to share the big reveal with owners who are designing at a distance.
