Giving Back to the Community is a CRATE Idea!

Did you know?

CRATE Interiors contributes approximately 15% of its gross income each month to support local charities.  This includes a Puerto Vallarta food distribution program which, with many people out of work due to the Covid-19 pandemic, is needed now more than ever. If you’d like to help the community where you live, invest and play, consider helping our CRATE team continue this long-standing commitment to provide weekly deliveries of beans and rice to several food kitchens in neighborhoods around Puerto Vallarta.

Every Friday, our crew members pick up large sacks or costales containing different types of legumes and rice from local produce markets and safely deliver them to area churches including Iglesia Adventista Septemo Dias, First Baptist Church and Amazing Grace Ministries in Nuevo Vallarta. The cost of the food items is approximately $1000 Pesos per week per location.

First Baptist Church supports a long-standing food shortage program at the following locations: Solo con Voluntad in Las Juntas; Salvation Army in Mojoneras; Cosecha in Progresó; the El Colorado Community Center; and Grupo BENNU AC, a Puerto Vallarta non-profit organization that helps local women with cancer.

Amazing Grace Ministries operates a program providing food, household essentials, water and job training at a family services site in Progreso.
