Over the last 14 years, CRATE interiors has expanded its turnkey furnishing solution from interior design into full-scale renovation work. Throughout this creative process, we have always prioritized quality, workmanship and enduring style.

It makes us so proud to follow our vacation homebuyers and rental property investors as they enjoy their villas, condos, penthouses and homes in paradise for years and even decades with the same furnishings we delivered during the first White Glove Install. In fact, in the recent two years several of our clients have resold properties with their original CRATE Interiors designed furnishings and substantially increased their return on investment on the valuation.
Test, Review and Repeat
So it’s no surprise that we’re obsessed with durability, product specifications and conducting wear tests in our rigorous coastal environments. In fact, our case studies now go back over 10 years, with data to back the high quality furnishings brands and manufacturers used in our projects.
Vendors are selected and curated by our design team based on longterm performance, warranty and damage claim policies and the support they provide throughout our design, delivery and post-install process. We hand select every component and collection, constantly reevaluating our offering based on feedback, functionality and even the occasional product fail.
More Than Meets the Eye
A beautiful interior is more than a few pretty pieces. Sometimes it takes several months to understand the difference in quality, comfort and style. For example, our mattresses come direct from manufacturers and most offer an impressive 5-10 year warranty. It’s not about jumping on a mattress in a store, or that first night in your new place. It’s far more telling to evaluate how mattresses hold up after 2-3 years of guest stays.

Quality over Quantity
And then there’s tableware. Looks stylish enough on the (big box or retailer) shelf, but did you know most plates, cups and cutlery we test from the local market actually conduct heat? This means they’re scalding hot coming out of the microwave and dangerous to the touch. Same for cookware, serving platters and a host of other kitchen gadgets. We know, we’ve tested every piece!
Install Once Install Right
Appliances are another category. Most can be ordered and dropped off at your destination. But what about proper factory parts, supply lines, voltage requirements and the correct configuration of power plugs? Or the difference between natural and LP gas? We get so many calls from property managers and realtors when appliances short, spark, burn out or just stop altogether. And time after time its improper install.
Window to Your Soul
Be the Light. Over 200 checkpoints go into our install inspection process, including window treatments.
Then there’s window treatments. Probably the most commoditized category in our homes! And truly you get what you pay for. High quality solar control blinds, blackout panels and curtains are manufactured from toptier materials. The warranty on workmanship further extends the product lifespan and provides longterm peace of mind. If it’s 30% cheaper, it’s absolutely more than 30% cheaper in terms of wearability, post-install service and replacement parts.
